So, Lately is currently celebrating the release of their newest album "Across the Lake," which has been inspired by multiple friends and talents over the course of 3 months, with a focus on the energies found within and around bodies of water.

This album is a meditative blend of bitter-sweet tones, dark synths, ambient textures, and found & field-recorded samples layered over 808, post-dub, and stripped down club beats. Often repetitious vocal samples are reverberated and re-pitched to fill every space with a sea of deep brooding emotion, before giving way to subtle glimmers of light that lead you into a state of calm, aquatic suspension.
